Sony køber sangdatabasen Gracenote

hmm jeg kan godt lide gracenote.. selv om det er en smule ukorrekt.. men det er stadig rigtig godt.. om sony ejer det eller ej tror jeg ikke gør så meget så længe det bliver ved med at fungere som det gør.. :)

Er MusicBrainz ikke bedre/mere avanceret?
(Ikke at det som sådan har noget med nyheden at gøre, men alligevel)

Jeg synes ikke det der lyder godt! vil Sony ikke bruge muligheden for at overvåge?? eller er det kun mig der har mistede tilliden til dem efter deres Rootkit sag??

Sony's TrackID som jeg har på min mobil har overrasket mig mange gange. Kunne være meget rart hvis denne feature bliver endnu bedre med dette opkøb.

Sony's track id læser bare mp3 tagged på mp3 filen som du selv kan tilføje eller redigere hvis der er der fra start af, intet nyt under solen der.....

Men det lyder vel ok hvis bare den får lov til at forsætte som selvstændig, og ikke bare lige pludselig begynder at tage 10 øre hver gang man skal have sang info.. (mange bække små, gør en stor å)..

Øøhm nej... Sony's TrackID kan optage fra mikrofonen, eller den indbyggede FM radio og ud fra det fortælle hvilken sang det er.
Har intet med ID3 tags at gøre.

Lyder godt at de vil lade det køre vide som det gør, har jeg ikke noget problem i bare de ikke piller for meget. Så må de da gerne tage Gracenote's penge.
