HP starter et nyt firma, Gram, der skal videreføre WebOS General Business Unit (WebOS GBU) sammen med Enyo og deres WebOS-Cloudtjeneste. Dermed skal Gram skabe en ny teknologi, der kan frigøre internettet.

Gram skal ifølge HP lanceres sidst i august, og mens formålet med Gram endnu er uklart, ser det ud til, at Gram skal udvikle software, der er baseret på WebOS, og som benytter sig af WebOS-cloudtjeneste og Enyo. Desuden er medarbejdere i Gram blevet bedt om ikke at tale med andre end familie og venner om projektet, da det i øjeblikket er i ’stealth mode’.
Gram skrev:
Stealth mode. We are an incubation company, and we are trusting you to keep this company name and product under the radar to give it time to take root and grow. You can wear the logo, help build the momentum of the new identity, talk to your families and friends about it. If someone from the outside asks, you can say, “GRAM is a new company. We are in stealth mode on our product offering.”
