Batteries are finally getting bigger – thanks to Lenovo and Acer Lenovo and Acer appear to have kickstarted this war with several new smartphones that sport tablet-size batteries. Lenovo's new 5.5in K80, for example, boasts a huge 4,000mAh battery – a staggering 1,000mAh or 33% more than the iPhone 6 Plus, which uses an identically-sized screen and nearly 1,500mAh more than the 5.1in Samsung Galaxy S6.
